Seems like everything is within its limits. cpu usage is around 30%.ДЄll is well, i can surf the web, have my torrents downloading at over 300kkb/sec (total for 2 torrents), stay on aim. whatever.Дd-wrt reports something like 550 active connections, and around 97% MEMORY (not cpu) used. some will have 25 connected peers, some will have 1, some will have 15. I can have 2, 3 or 4 (generally) torrents going at once. Here is what's really fishy, and infomation i haven't seen provided before- when trying to diagnose this problem.

using p2p generates 1000's of these, and over time overloads the router. i have also heard that dd-wrt, as well as the original firmware save list of incoming ip connections for something insane, like 5 days. i have adjusted the p2p settings: maximum ports is set to 1024. this means i have 8mb flash, and i am using dd-wrt MICRO.

(more or less) my max connections are set to 500.ДЈ. i've raised my max tcp connections within windows.

(they say 420 global, 125 per torrent) download is uncapped, no difference either way. based on my bandwidth speed test, i can go much higher. this means under 250max global connections, 100 per torrent. properly adjusted my torrent program settings. Well, i've done pretty much everything i can to ensure maximum speeds. we all know incorrect settings pretty much anywhere will lead to all traffic slowing or stopping, and the router disconnecting (usually for a reboot) this is a bunch of answers, and a few questions. Alright, hopefully you will understand this is less of a typical thread than you would expect, with that title.
